Rini Africa was born from a fascination with fabric — its texture, its history, the hands that shape it, and the stories it carries.
We are not building a store. We are building an archive — a place to slow down and look closely at cloth that most of the world has only ever glanced at.

In Kano and the wider north, cloth has long moved with trade — dyed in communal indigo pits, finished by hand, and worn as a marker of occasion and identity. It is one thread among many in West Africa's textile story, distinct from Yoruba adire and the region's other traditions, and worth knowing on its own terms.
